We had the most amazing experience with the team at Lifestyle Awnings. The initial visit and consultation was a no BS, honest feasibility of our balcony and approach to installation. The team also explained to us very clearly the options we had around wind sensors as well as automation. We chose the fully enclosed cassette, colour-matched to our apartment building’s facade colour. That made it easy to get permission from the owners corporation.

When it came to installation day (only 3 weeks after the order was submitted), well, that’s when the experience and care went up a few more levels: The installers enlisted a few more team members because the awnings could not come up the lift (due to their length) had to be hoisted three levels up with ropes. Five people made it look so easy, there was no damage whatsoever.

I need to apologise to them because it took me that long to write this review, but we are so grateful for their work as well as the couple of aftercare calls (to adjust the wind sensor sensitivity to our circumstances).

Bottom line: what Lifestyle Awnings did for us has transformed the way we use our North/East balcony and has improved our apartment lifestyle tremendously. I rate them extremely highly, both as service providers and honest humans.

Yourself along with Victoria were so lovely and thorough and the tradesmen who worked on the job (I would like to make special mention of the father and son who I saw most of the time today and the other young man who came out originally) who were so polite and once again so thorough.

Lifestyle awnings were very, very easy to deal with – they showed endless patience with my questions and were careful to help me make an ideal choice for my somewhat difficult installation. The installers were meticulous and, for instance, took care to vacuum up dust as they drilled, and washed their hands a few times during the installation to avoid making the new blinds grubby – this was an interior installation using large size exterior quality blinds. When I changed my mind on the exact hanging position, Lifestyle Awnings made the change for a nominal price without quibbling. Absolutely satisfied with the product, quality and service. I wanted to say thank you to all the people I’ve dealt with during the measurement, selection, installation, and re-installation of my blinds.

Easily the most professional, reliable, friendly and easy to deal with business I have used in years. I had a painfully long awning needing to go from the city to a country location and they organised it all with a genuine smile. I cannot recommend them enough. When the installers came to install, they had to deal with seriously strong winds and when I asked if they were okay with it, they didn’t even think twice and said no problems. Vicki and her sales and installation team were great when we purchased from them 2 years ago. Whole process was easy and professional and well executed.

However, the true mark of a really great company is measured by their response, two years later.

A cigarette butt burnt a whole in my awning. I emailed Vicki and got a prompt response suggesting a quick fix, a better fix and the ultimate fix (replacing the fabric). She readily volunteered that the better fix was good enough – She promptly mailed out the matching fabric sample and took the time to write the instructions of what I should do.

That was not good enough for this company!!

After mailing the fabric, Vicki followed up with an email to advise what she had done and even offered that if I had any problems, when the team were in the neighbourhood, they would drop by to assist !!!

You cannot top this for true caring customer service, going way above and beyond.

I don’t write reviews, but, this Company went the extra mile, so joining Facebook and writing this review is the least I can do.

Just got awnings installed by this company, only days before Christmas, and at a time which is busy for any business – because everyone wants everything yesterday!!
